KWE Terms of Business

In common with similar businesses, KWE require an initial deposit before sourcing the base vehicle. Following acquisition of the vehicle, stripping it and the procurement of the parts required for re-engineering, the customer is invited to inspect the vehicle and make a stage payment.

Work then continues, the car is completed and the customer invited once more to inspect the vehicle prior to delivery.

Upon or before delivery (in mainland UK) the customer makes the final payment and takes ownership and responsibility for the vehicle. A typical schedule is as follows:

Day 1 Agree specification and price of vehicle, make deposit payment of 20% (non-refundable).

Day 35 Body, engine and suspension ready for re-assembly. .Agree any further specification changes make stage payment of 40% of total price.

Day 70 Car completed awaiting customer approval. Final balance payment made. Car delivered. The customer is welcome to view the process in detail, or can just leave it all to us!
A full statement of Terms and Conditions is available upon request. The principle applied is that of minimising risk to both parties in the event of mishap.

Warranty
KWE warrants the quality of its workmanship for a period of one year from the date of delivery. In practice, should a KWE-supplied or fitted part fail during the warranty period, KWE will replace it free of charge. Further terms and conditions apply, such as voiding of warranty should the car be used for abnormal purposes including racing or trackdays. The car must also have been serviced, in accordance with KWE specification, by KWE, a Jaguar Main Dealer or other garage approved by KWE.
